no. only after about 223 eggs. sorry
The hatched Pokemon won't always be shiny, but having a shiny parent helps the chances of shininess.
I Think the only shiny in silver is The red gyrados in lake of rage but if you put a ditto in the day care with gyarados you will get a shiny magikarp.
That is complicated. First, find a shiny Magikarp. You have to battle 8312 to find one, but it is worth it. Then evolve the Magikarp into Gyarados.
Yes, you technically CAN get a shiny magikarp but its not automatic. You have the same chances of getting a shiny magikarp as you do a shiny Pokemon from any other kind of egg. The parents don't automatically make it a shiny magikarp.
Shiny Dittos will not transform to a shiny sprite to its opponent. But if it transformes into a shiny pokemon, the transformed ditto becomes the shiny pokemon, not the normal pokemon.Ex: Red Gyrados vs DittoIf ditto uses transform, it will turn into a Red Gyrados. When the battle ends, the ditto will not be shiny. But in Gen. 2, I think it does turn shiny if you catch the transformed ditto... XD
red gyrados is actually a 'shiny' gyrados, meaing it's just a weird thing that the Pokemon games have were every couple 10,000 Pokemon or so. so in order to obtain a red gyrados you would have to go through quite a lot of finding a shiny gryados or shiny magikarp(if you evolve taht it should stay shiny)
same lvl as a normal magikarp 20 and the shiny magikarp evolves into a red gyrados
The Gold Magikarp is a shiny Magikarp. It evolves into a red Gyarados. There is a 1 in 8912 chance that the Pokemon you encounter is shiny. This can be reduced to 1 in 2048 chance by using the Masuda method. This is basically when you breed a Magikarp with a foreign Ditto. The egg has a 1 in 2048 chance of being shiny.
if you mean put a shiny magikarp in the day care, yes. however even if you have 2 shiny magikarp it's highly unlikely you'll have a shiny magikarp baby as a result. your chances of hatching an egg and the Pokemon being shiny are the same as your odds of finding a shiny in the wild - slim to none... sorry, Pokemon creators weren't really geneticists the guy who answered this is the same person who asked the question LOL!? i have hatched so many magikarps filling 4boxes or lvl 1 none are shiny so far lol im breeding gyrados lvl 55 with a ditto
by breeding shiny gyrados, only game it works in is pokemon soul silver or just waste your time in any old pokemon game using an old rod in the ocean dumbo
Yes, you can evolve a magikarp from the resort area but there is a problem, the magikarp stats will be very low and once it evolves into gyrados the stats will be very low, even lower then the gyrados's in sinnoh lakes. Usually you will find the first time a level 69 or 59 magikarp. But eventually at level 80 your gyrados will have a boost of 8+ in attack and 5+ in Hp.
You just have to get an action replay then get the Pokemon shiny code and all of the wild gyrados will be red. Keep using an old rod for an shining magikarp then evolve it. It should work
