Street Fighter III originally debuted in arcades in 1997 and was later released for the Sega Dreamcast in 1999 and the PlayStation 2 in 2000 as part of the Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike edition. It is primarily known for its arcade version but has also been made available on various modern platforms through digital re-releases.

Street Fighter 1 actually was on the arcade, but wasn't very popular. It wasn't ported to home console until a little after the Turbo Grafx 16 came out. It was poterd on the Turbo Grafx 16, but got its name changed to Fighting Street for whatever reason.
