The first time you go there you will find Suicune, Entei and Raikou. Depending on wich game you play, these will all appear at random throughout Johto when they leave (witch is what they do when you find them :P). If you think about more common Pokemon you can find rattata, Koffing, Raticate, but I don't remember all of them :P
