There's an awesome cheat you can use to get cash without jailbreaking your iPod.Open settings, go to general, and tap date & time. Change the date to 2008 (two years before whatever year you're in), and then open your virtual families app. Play with them for a while, about 5 minutes, and then open settings again and change the time back. When you open up your app... Yay! You'll have at least 100,000 dollars! There will be lots of trash around the house but you can just clean that up.

Here's the money cheat for iPod Touch.

After playing the game for a while, go to Settings, then go to general: date and time. Change the date on your iPod. In my experience, from 2012, I changed it to 2004. Best if the year gap is not so big. You'll see why.

Go back to playing your Virtual Families game. Plat it for about 5-10 minutes. Go back to setting, general, and date and time. Change the date to the correct year and play again.

Now, you'll have at least 300 000 in the bank. You can repeat it again and for the second time, you'll have more money. I tried for 3 times.

2nd time, I changed 2012 to 2010 and I had 11 Million!

For the 3rd time, I changed the year from 2012 to 2010 again, and I had 450 Million in the bank!

Take note that when you do this cheat, your little people can become extremely weak, depressed, and they could even be starving. So nurse them back to health. It's worth it. And one more thing! Your house and yard will also be full with trash and weeds. You can just clean that up.

This is the millionaire cheat. You can use it more than once! Hope this helps! Go to Settings on your iPod. Scroll down to Date & Time. Set the date back two years. Go back to Virtual Families and play for ONE MINUTE ONLY! Go back to Settings and change the date to the right date. Go back to Virtual Families. (it may take a while for your money.) You will notice that your money increased by $1,000,000! Rich you! Side effects will include sickness, weakness, and a dirty home. If you didn't follow ONE MINUTE ONLY then another effect is aging. I bought all the house upgrades and the TV, pinball machine, etc. What I really mean is I bought everything. Lol. My current balance is so much I can't read it. This is the Secret Red Ball cheat. It doesn't really do anything. It's something to have just to have. Go to the top left corner of the screen in Virtual Families. Take your finger and slide it diagonally from the corner and down. (sorry if you don't get what I'm saying. It's hard to explain.) You must repeat this several times. In a while, a red ball will pop out. You can do whatever you want with it. (scare the dog, roll it around, etc. Well, that's all I know so hope you have a use for these cheats!

Okay, if you have iPod touch, iPad, or computer go to your settings change the year 2 yrs back from your year then play with them for at least 5 min them go back to settings and change the year to the current year them you will have a good amount but a lot of mess to clean up
