You can find them by the flock of seagulls circling the area.

Note that the Big Octo at G4 doubles your magic meter once you defeat it. The others yield prizes like silver rupees and Pieces of Heart. This is a very easy way to get money quickly, especially useful at that point when that jerk Tingle robs you of all your money to get the Triforce charts.

When you are out to sea and you see a lot of seaguls flying aroung one place, then a Big Octo should appear when you get close. go to the one eye reef two eye reef etc. and you will find a chart showing you where the octos are

to find the great faeries i suggest you do two things 1. free tingle andget the map he gives to you then 2. go to the one eye two eye reefs and you will find a chart in one after destrpying all the baddies happy hunting
