802.11g operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. It is an IEEE standard for wireless networking that provides data rates up to 54 Mbps, and it is backward compatible with 802.11b. The use of the 2.4 GHz band allows for good range but can be subject to interference from other devices operating in the same frequency range.
b, the network will ALWAYS drop to the slowest device no matter if there are faster devices on it. n devices would slow down to g or b speeds also. The slower one can't go faster so the faster ones have no choice but to slow down. You can get around that problem if you were to get a Dual Band router and put the slower devices on a different band and then there wouldn't be a problem.
Rock Band does let you use the controller, but can only be used if you have a singer in the band.
