PS3 games, PS2 games (but you cannot put PS2 games in the new version of the PS3 for some odd reason...) DVDs and if you have an HD ready TV you can play blue-ray DVDs too)
I might not be so sure about it though, there could be more things you can do, but this is generally what i think.
You can put DVD's into the new slim PS3s and they play much better than on a DVD player that doesn't have upscaling.
the early version of the ps3 is the only one that can play ps2 disks on the newer one you can only play ps2 on ps3 disks that were made for ps3 only you cannot play xbox games though because xbox is Microsoft not sony
There is dust on the laser and it needs to be cleaned.
Wipe it off carefully
Xbox is paid live, as the PS3 is free online. Both consoles have exclusive games. Xbox has DVD's, PS3 has blu-ray disks.
no they do not. xbox and ps3 are completely different operating systems so their disks could never work on the other one.
Xbox's will not scratch or 'ring' discs unless tilted when a disc is inserted.
Nope, you can't play a ps3 guitar in a ps2, but if your ps2 guitar gets inserted in the USB port then you can play it on your ps3.
yes the ps3 is more powerfull. ps3 has a stronger faster graphix reader and procesor also the ps3 plays blueray movies and game disks.
No, you will definitely cause no harm to the game if you spend too much on the internet on the PS3.
There is no way to play a xbox 360 game on the PS3. Both consoles take different disks and therefore are not compatible with each other.
Yes and it can DVD blu ray disks avi mpa and other movie files
Look on the side of your ps3 and there should be a slot where a hard drive is inserted... Unscrew the cover and remove the hard-drive before inserting it into your new ps3...
