What do people think the advantages or disadvantages of making a choice to tell colleagues you have a mental illnes are and would a person be willing to take the risks?
I would like to answer this because i did take that risk and regret it. I would like to have educated my colleagues who were mental health professional about living with it, having family members who live with it and the stigma associated with it. Instead the disadvantage of discrimination took over, thus I am trying to deal with my decision and help those who are in the same shoes I am in.
