The Sims 3 expansion pack add on, or expand your game playing experience. There are now many expansion packs to add. These are the new expansion packs. World Adventures let's your sim explore new worlds. Ambitions gives your sim a variety of new skills and jobs, it also comes with a new town. Late-night lets your sim explore a fun town similar to New York, it also gives a new skill called mixology, and new venues such as dive bars. Generations gives your sim new objects, many for kids, body hair, and the glorified spiral staircase. Pets gives your sim cats, dogs, horses, and many minor pets such as turtles, birds, and lizards. There are also many stuff packs, which give your sim stuff. (obviously) Late-night is my favorite, simply because of the apartments, and I like having vampires to bite people.(late-night has vampires)

no you can not run sims 2 expansion packs on the sims 3 i know it would be good if you could but you cant, there is going to be sims 3 expansion packs ( world adventures.etc.)
