- Good Karma - You go to the Gas station and speak with Ringo, he will tell you to recruit Sunny Smiles and ask around town, you will then get the help of the people of the town against the Powder gangers who are harassing the town. Once this is done, you will have a more good Karma and be Idolised by Goodsprings
- Bad Karma - You can go speak to Joe Cobb, who is located standing against a wall near the bottom of goodsprings, next to a 'out of order' truck. You will speak to him and start the quest Run Goodsprings Run in which you will start an attack on Goodsprings, once this is completed, Goodsprings will remains under Powder ganger rule. Once this is done, you will have worse Karma and be Hated by Goodsprings, yet Accepted by the Powder Gangers.
