What do you do after you catch the robot thief on Night Watch Island?

Well, you don't catch him -- you just feed him a robot bird and he goes off.

Leave the atrium (center of the mall) and another alert will come in to the phone, this time from Carnival Costumes, and the camera goes dead. Go there to investigate.

Answer 2

You are going to take a job as a security guard at the mall. It is night time and the mall is closed, but some strange things are going on. You will get some help from the previous guard, Gus, after you find his smart phone (useful for security checks).

Cross the mall area to the parking lot to meet Gus, and one of the store owners, then go to the security entrance and apply for the job.

The first time you see the robber is in Carnival Costumes. You can surprise him at MacGuffin's to get a key. It fits the door at Good Deals next door, and you discover a clue.

When you surprise him later at the card store, you have to chase him up the ladder into the ceiling spaces.

Gus suggests that you go back to PrintFax to look for clues. Use the menu on one of the copy machines there to bring up what the thief was copying (the rare Baseball card). Go back to the card store to check on the valuable card in the safe.
