There are 2 pieces to the Gang Hideout Map on Wild West Island.
One is found at the bank in Rock Ridge after it is robbed. This happens immediately after you beat the train robbery.
The other is given to you by the big-headed kid in Dos Cactos. You have to cure him by getting the Blue Tulip from the mine at Rock Ridge. -- Climb to the upper right on the train tracks, and click the Canary atop the train car. He will drop a key. Use the key to enter the mine at right, and shoot the targets as you ride in the cart. Get the blue tulip and climb out. Go to Dos cactos and give the kid the tulip.
Once you have both pieces of the map, ride down and left from Dos cactos to reach the hideout. You will need the Transparency Tonic from R.J. Earl in Rock Ridge, which you buy with a gold nugget (win slapjack at the Dos Cactos casino to get the map, catch the calf for the girl at Rock Ridge and swap the saddle for a gold pan at Dusty Gulch).
