You can fix your wii's Fan by gonig online and ordering a fan along with their special Ds and Wii Screwdriver this is if your wii is overheating and shutting down for a few hours, after only playing 30-45minutes of gameplay.

After taking apart everything theres a protective metal case if you just pull it comes off, you can then replace the fan. Do not lose the screws their custom made just for the wii.

If your warranty hasn't expired yet, you could read through the instructions that came with the wii console, and you might be able to send your console to Nintendo, and they'll fix it. There should be a help line phone number in the instructions as well, that you can call to get more info on what to do.

Worst case scenario is that it can't be fixed and you might have to buy a new one. On the other hand, if YOU didn't break it, and it broke on it's own, AND the warrant hasn't expired, you could have Nintendo pay for a new console.

It's extremely difficult to fix a Wii console when it's broken so nothing. p.s i figured out how to fix it. go to any game store and tell the cashier to try to fix it. if it dont work tell someone else in the game store.
