a zafreeti is slow so team it up with something slow like D.A.V.E.s,project X, crabitrons or banditos.if U team it up with something fast like a brain or a bolt,it will get ahead of the zafreeti and since the zafreeti cant keep up,the zafreeti cant heal them either and the monsters that is ahead will die.
when teaming up monsters with a zafreeti,make sure the monster's favorite target is the same and or else they will split up and the zafreeti will be confuse about with one to heal and when it chooses a group the other group will die.also never team up a zafreeti with a champion monster because a champion monster's favorite target is anything.

Maybe yes or maybe not... Because in Backyard Monsters, defensive monsters have a huge life points. But in case of circumstances the low class monsters is an advantage.. Ichi at lvl 6 HP: 2800 Damage: 110 Movespeed: 1.2 Goocost: 60,000 Time: 1m 30s Crabatron at lvl 6 HP:4800 Damage: 170 Movespeed: 1.5 Goocost: 120,000 Time: 12m 30s Comparing this two defensive monsters are almost doubled comparing to the statistics... There are four defensive monsters available in order: Octo-ooze, Ichi, Crabatron, and Project X Project X are not so deadly like Crabatron exemption when it is having a 10 million putty rage. But this is the fact i discovered. Think about that the BYM or Backyard Monsters introduced the heavy traps that even the most powerful D.A.V.E. was one hit on this trap. Even the new introduced champions may have fear in this traps. not so sure but this trap deals almost 20,000 damage. And only explodes in High End Monsters (D.A.V.E, Crabatron, Project X and Champions). Means that other monsters not triggered this trap. Ichi and Octo-ooze does not affect by this trap as the least one is prone to booby traps and almost in death when exploded. With the Zafreeti tandem, all of this defensive monsters are more deadlier. For me the ichi + Zafreeti tandem is most an optimized one. Near High Damage from Crabatron but an half of its HP and not triggered the heavy traps. This tandem saves half of the goo production and more faster attacking. Wreak Havoc (50 or above units fling) of this ichi + an Zafreeti will be more good as it has less space and goo cost and invurnerable to heavy traps. Wreak Havoc Crabatron + Zafreeti will be a sacrificing one as they can be exploded by heavy traps and wasting your time and goo.
