If you are going to solo - then sharks are best. I personally would take a unicorn stallion - however if you don't have to required summoning level sharks will do fine.
You will need high ish combat stats (look at a guide) - tip.it has good ones.
Sharks are perfectly fine - fill a Beast of Burden as well if you haven't got unicorn and you should last a while.
