According to sources, the Playstation 4 is not backwards compatible. In other words, it cannot play PS3 or PS2 games in either physical format or downloadable format.
Yes some Video Game series still are making PS2 game versions with the other versions of game consoles being released. No one is making PS2 exclusive games for release or releasing existing games in a PS2 format
nope the format does not suit it and the keycode too
PS2 games purchased in Peru will be encoded on the NTSC format. This should make them compatible with US PlayStation 2's which are also part of the NTSC coding.
PS3s play only PS3 games unless they say they will play others. For example most say that they will play select PlayStation titles and most say they will not play PS2 games right on the box it was shipped in. PS1 used the CD format and PS2 did not use a CD and instead used a DVD format disc. The only PS3 that said they could play PS2 games were the old PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports
you cannot because yer
it is not possible, ps3 discs are in blu ray format which the ps2 can not play. Maybe there is some sort of internal mod that would let you play them though
If there PS2 educational games. The PS2 will not play games not designed specifically for the PS2 console
The PlayStation store sells only games that are compatible with Sony PlayStation Products and include the PS2, PS3, PSP and PSP Go
