The Gameboy Pocket can only play the original Gameboy games.
The Game Boy Pocket is the final revision of the original Game Boy model. It will play all Game Boy games, and any Game Boy Color games which were specifically made to be backwards compatible, such as Pokemon Gold/Silver. Other Game Boy Color games will not work on it.
yes it can
Yes, it is the same console, just the Game Boy Pocket is smaller.
The Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Color Lead is needed. I have Traded from a GBA-SP to the Original "Brick" Game Boy, using the Game Boy Pocket lead. The GameBoy Advance Lead Looks almost Identical, but does not work with Game Boy Games and Game Boy Color games.
Yes, it is the same console. the Game Boy Pocket is just a smaller version.
There is no such thing as a 'Gameboy Pocket game'. The Gameboy Pocket is simply a smaller version of the original Gameboy, it was not a new platform so had no version specific software. The GBA is backwards compatible with the original Gameboy games though.
Yes, and the game will be in color.
Yes you can
You cannot play gameboy color games on a GBM without a flash cart.
yes but it is not full color just some shades of color that's it
Yes, it can be played on the original Game Boy, despite it being designed to be played on the Game Boy Color. It'll just be played with the Game Boy's monochrome colors, rather than full color as it would be on the Game Boy Color.
The Game Boy family includes several models: the original Game Boy, released in 1989, followed by the Game Boy Pocket, which was a smaller, lighter version. The Game Boy Color, introduced in 1998, featured a color screen and backward compatibility with original Game Boy games. Additionally, there were variations like the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP, and Game Boy Micro, which offered enhanced graphics and portability.
