What happened to jun in halo reach?

Well there are rumors that Jun died from halo reach and that all of Noble Team died but he didnt die he escaped with Dr. Halsey and i didnt read the books but my friend did he said it didnt metion that a sparton gave up his life for her why would he do that but Jun didnt die its final cause they are making a new Halo and it has Jun as the main charter because Master Chief is in space so that's why they made him the only one alive i think they couldve done him and noble 6 but they didnt i may be wrong but this is what i think. But i do now is that all of Noble Team died besides Jun. Actually Halo 4 is based on Chief and Jun died by the hands of the arbiter. He died while protecting Dr.Halsey

if you look closely on legendary hasly's ship gos off while he is talking to carter he supposedlt stayed behind to whatch demonliton a suside mission but according to the book he meets kelly at castle base and he gets glassed it hits the base dead on i belive the game not the book because bungie knows best
