Nothing. But there is a secret world at the end: World 9. You have to get ALL of the star coins in a world to unlock 1 of the levels in it. But to answer your question, nothing really. You came, you saw, you conquered. That's about it. I'm not sure what happens after World 9 though... Maybe you should find out!
Edit: aftey you complete EVERYTHING (all star coins and secret entrances) you'll get a message saying you've completed everything and you can now go to all the mushroom houses an infinite number of times
