It really depends if you are talking about the first playstation 2 model or the small playstation 2 second model. It go's the same with the playstation three the first model was the biggest playstation model ever and now the second model is smaller. But now lets compare them the first playstation 2 model v.s the first playstation 3 model i think the smaller one is the playstation 3 model.
