people that worked for sony hacked it and now play station network will never ever work....... if you readed this you should buy a xbox, since it xbox live will be free before 2012.... psn will never work again, sony cant fix it cause itz a hack..BUY A Xbox OR wii.

Information on the actual Intrusion is limited by security considerations and criminal procedures. Latest Sony post under related link said the planned procedure to restore services regionally first week of May 2011 has been delayed and earlier releases were about starting a program to provide customer bonuses. The network was shut down on April 20 2011 and has been down since that time. To quote a recent press release: The system will "will shortly begin a phased restoration by region of PlayStation®Network and Qriocity™ services, beginning with gaming, music and video services to be turned on. The company also announced both a series of immediate steps to enhance security across the network and a new customer appreciation program to thank its customers for their patience and loyalty." see related questions
