What is in the guild chest on Fable 2?

You can open the chest three times to get prizes. Hitting a right certain combination of buttons will get you different prizes:

Book and Dye: Left + Evil + first option + Evil + third option

Doll and Tattoo: Down + Good + third option + Good + first option

Three Piece Chicken Suit: Left + Evil + first option + Good + second option

First off you have to have the collectors edition of Fable 2. Then you have to get onto X-Box live and download the mod/update (I don't know which it is considered). The chest contains Hal's armor which looks sort of like a medieval cloth version of the original Halo's Master Chief's armor. You also get a sword based off of the energy sword from Halo. The look of the armor is not comparable to the armor from the first Fable though. You're better off sticking with robes or clothing that are already unlocked if you care about the looks of your character. If you have the limited edition you also get a bonus dungeon and cutlass that nobody else has, so be sure to look into that also.

No u dont need the collectors edition to open that chest. the collectors edition is only for the halo armor. u can get other stuff out of it. U can can get a chicken suit if u go to fable2.com and play the mini game and a chicken kicken minigame. just make sure when u got to the site u first sign into you xbox live profile, then play the games.

my mate says that the legendary crossbow is the reward for shooting all of the gargoyles therefore i suspect it'll be in the chest :)

In that chest is some sort of hammer. It is strong as a master weapon

The legendary crossbow called "The Rammer" you need to destroy all 50 gargoyles to open it.

You will have to fulfill requirements on fable 1 and have the two save datas reachable to each other.
