Fire Giants at Baxtorian Falls provide the best exp for Ranged, it's best get 99 ranged there.

If u happen to have the money and want a really quick level, i suggest using red chins are skeletal monkeys, or at sw, the exp is great at these places because u can hit more than 1 target which is alot of exp, this method is fairly expensive tho

Another reply: You could kill cows, and sell the cowhides and meat. But in general, I don't think killing things is the best way to make money.

Well the best ranged weapon in runescape in my opinion would be the red chimchompas

this is a really good weapon in runescape because there fast!! really fast! and they act like bombs and hit everything surrounding you.

70%-melee , 30% range. for melee , you dont have to waste money to buy arrows . range , though f2p can train it , i still call it a member's skill.you can make arrows with the skill : smithing(member's only)that's why i call it a memer's skill. you can make bows with logs , requires skill woodcutting and crafting.the most expensive stuff for warrior is corrupt dragon for f2p(i am not a member).they costs over 8 millions and you cant smith them , you only can get them by player killing. melee is better for f2p.

Fight, fight, fight! Actually, that's the ONLY way.

Really, the "best way" will depend on your exact situation and goals.

First of all, if you are a paying member, may I suggest that you combine any combat experience with Slayer tasks. That way, training Ranged will be slower - since some monsters are best attacked with Ranged, but others are better attacked with Melee, or Magic. However, apart from training the basic combat skills, you'll also be training an additional skill - Slayer.

If you are not a member, or already have Slayer 99, you can also combine combat with Dungeoneering. The same reasoning: train one more skill along the way.

Whether you combine with Slayer or Dungeoneering, or not, using a dwarven multicannon (this, too, is members-only) gives fairly fast Ranged experience. You can combine it with some Slayer tasks, but not all of them (the cannon may not be used everywhere). Please note that, while the cannon itself is fairly cheap, at about 600,000 coins, over time you'll be spending many millions in ammo, so this may, or may not, be the best method for you.

Other than that, you simply have to check the specific weakness of whatever Slayer monster - or other monster - you want to kill. If you decide to do Slayer tasks, and the assigned monster has a weakness to magic or melee - well, it's better to train melee or magic for that monster. If it does have a weakness to ranged, it is best to use the specific sub-type of ranged - just check the monster's weakness. That way, you'll kill them faster - and therefore also get Ranged xp faster. Subtypes for Ranged are arrows, thrown weapons, and bolts. For example, if a monster has a weakness against bolts, it will also have a weakness (to a lesser degree) against Ranged weapons in general.
