Well, it mainly depends what type your phoenix is, because pets like snacks of their type best, and will benefit the most from it. To check it's type, open your spellbook and click on the tab with a picture of a piggle. There you will see all your pets you have in your backpack. If your phoenix is equipped, it will be first on the list. Once you have found your phoenix, you can find all the details about it, including it's type. After you've done that, you'll know what snacks it'll like best.
