This was originally introduced on the YJ, but the JK brought it back in 2010. It's an $1100 package to get the Tiki Bob logo, blue embroidered seats, and a sticker on each side of the hood. They come with factory 17" aluminum wheels and 32" tires. They also put a set of coordinates on the hood emblem to designate an island - typically Oahu, HI.

The Jeep Sahara and Islander are both trims of the Jeep Wrangler but differ primarily in their styling and features. The Sahara is known for its more upscale interior, advanced technology, and additional comfort features, making it suitable for both off-road and on-road driving. In contrast, the Islander trim has a more casual, beach-themed aesthetic with unique decals and color options, often emphasizing a fun, outdoor lifestyle. Overall, the Sahara leans towards luxury and versatility, while the Islander focuses on a playful vibe.
Islander is like a renegade, wide fenders, cool graphics, trim package and etc, otherwise all of the rest is the same. It is just a special edition of Wrangler.
All it is is a different package
Yes, Laredo is just a trim package.
Trim package
Yes, they are the same vehicle, the sport is just a option package.
The Islander was created in 1998.
yes
The x package is just under the Sahara package. It's a nicely equipped jeep, without the plastic body cladding and painted fender flares. The ones I have seen have air, tilt cruise power steering abs( sometimes) a lot also have the desirable Dana 44 with limited slip. Good platform for building a great jeep.
The Italian word for islander is "isolano."
The Islander - album - was created in 1998.
