The password you use is the same code you use to get your laptop or PC connected to your wireless router. When you first set the router up, you'll have given it a name (SSID) and an encryption key for whichever form of encryption you were using. When you search for hotspots on your PSP, it's the same thing - select your SSID from the list, and use the key you set up.
the password is for games and the internet that's all
it is a type of a code or password to get on the internet
If you're PSP can run homebrew, download the password retriever in related links. Otherwise there seems to be almost no ways to retrieve the password.
Not if you have a wireless router that you know the password to.
The internet is already accessible on your psp it just needs a place to connect to. If you have a wireless hotspot without a password you can connect but if it needs a password then you need the password. I don't think you can connect without using a wireless connection.
actually, i had a psp and the password to get thrue was 0000. my psp broke and i got a new one. the password was still 0000. try 0000
You have to enter the router's encryption key, or disable the encryption on the router itself.
To set up a PSP Connection I'm assuming to the internet, If not then please be more specific. To get on the internet turn on your psp and go to "internet settings" and you can either go scan which is the simple way and if that's if you know your internet name and password if there is one, click that and enter your encryption password and name it what you want to name it, when you try to connect to the internet use those settings. The other way is to manually enter your details and get your internet running that way.
To get access to the internet on your PSP, you will need access to a WIFI connection. This can either be from your homes router, or free one in a cafe. Then, head to the Settings in your PSP, Network Settings, Infrastructure Mode, New Connection, Scan and then select the correct wifi connection. Enter the password if require and your PSP will then attempt to connect to the internet.
Some places offer free wireless, restaurants like McDonalds' frequently do.
it will obviously, any use of internet (if you own it) you have to pay for it. Actually it depends on how long you use the PSP. Well, my uncle said if!!!!!!!! you have the iPhone on your psp he thinks it costs money but i don't know. internet is free to psps provided the wireless connection your trying to use isn't password blocked.
you can get internet on your psp by going to this website;http://www.mypsp.com.au
