Hahaha, no, it's called the Marker. It was a giant statue built by an alien race. It emits a frequency wave that affects the necromorphs, so it was put on top of them to keep them on the planet where Isaac ends up in the final chapters. When the Ishimura went down to mine the planet, they found the Marker and took it to study, unknowingly releasing the necromorphs. Isaac is trying to put it back.

Dead Space: Downfall is an animated horror movie in the Dead Space universe. A second movie called Dead Space: Aftermath is soon to be released.
That question can be answered differently. If 'you' think Dead Space: Downfall wasn't very scary, then Dead Space 2 is alot scarier. However, if 'you' think Dead Space: Downfall was very, very scary then the same goes for Dead Space 2.
Use dive on all the small dark areas of water from lilycove to mossdeep. Just click the a button repeatedly whenever there is a space underwater with no grass until you find shards. When you get a shard, you can take it to a man in a beachhouse near lilycove. He'll give you a stone that matches your shard (a yellow shard will give you a thunder stone, blue is water, green-leaf). Hope this helps.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Dead Space. I assume you've already seen the Dead Space movie, but if you haven't, it's called Dead Space: Downfall.
The average space rock that becomes a meteor is typically a fragment from a comet, or a shard thrown off when two asteroids collide.
