What is the strongest attack of fighting Pokemon?

The strongest Pokemon Move is either, Hyper Beam ( Big Huge Blast that makes the user wait one turn before using another move ), or Giga Impact ( A big blast that lowers the users Accuracy (I Think) or Damage).

Another strong move is Metronome. (A move that the user picks a move out of ALL the moves and is unpredictable) One (1) Time I used Metronome and my pokemon did Splash (A move that does NOTHING!) and another time I did Metronome and my pokemon used Solar Beam (A blast formed of sunlight that take a while to charge up)

In terms of initial power, there are two Rock-type moves which are currently the strongest. There is 'Head Smash' which has a power of 150 and accuracy of 80. The user, however, receives half the damage inflicted. Then there is 'Rock Wrecker' which also has a power of 150, but has an accuracy of 90. It is a powerful Rock-type move but causes the user to withdraw from attacking the next turn so it can recover.

Of course, you can't underestimate good Rock-type moves like Rollout - which increases strength with repetition. If you have your Pokemon use Defense Curl, the initial power of Rollout will be doubled. Equipping the item 'Metronome' to your Pokemon will also help as it increases the strength of moves used consecutively. With these two combined, your Pokemon can deliver a knockout Rollout. Even though its initial power is 30.

I think Blast Burn is the most strongest fire move, because it is "named" the strongest fire move in the pokemon move set

Blast Burn; it's base damage is 150 with 5 PP and it works like Hyper Beam, as it needs to recharge after it was used. (and only needs to recharge if it hits). It can only be learnt from that lady in two island to Charizard.

In S/R/E: Eruption.

It contains the same stats as in Blast Burn. It can only be learnt by Groudon at lv 75.

Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon and another move (grass type) that has 150 power, 5pp and 100 accuracy but needs to recharge. I heard it can be learned by all starters not just restricted to Kanto starters (Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander) as well as naturally, all their evolution forms

The most powerful Dragon-type move is Draco Meteor. It has 140 Power and 90 Speed. Any Dragon type can learn this move, but you can only learn it in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. North of Solaceon Town, you will see a small house. Go inside. There will be an old lady. Talk to her and she will tell you she can teach any Dragon-types the ultimate move. Go ahead and select which Pokemon and it will learn Draco Meteor.

Actually it is Outrage with 150 damage, however few pokemon actually learn it while all friendly dragon-types can learn draco meteor. Also in HGSS, the tutor is in blackthorn city
