level 20 it is so ovious but it is kinda hard {i suggest gowning to one of the three shard guys i pearl dimound and platinum any other games you just have to use rare candy. cause if you catch it at 14 or lower it virtually impossible to train at level 15 it learns tackle areal attack}. but in the end you have a strong gyridose. i know i have a awesome gyridose level 100. it is worth the wait!

Magikarp evolves between the levels of 20 and 30, I think the best way to level a magikarp up is to put it in the day-care on ROUTE 117 to the left of mauville city.
