What level do you prestige on COD black ops?

actually u prestige at lvl 80

but u become prestige straight after u go 2 barracks and press on prestige mode then they ask u questions if ur sure about being prestige because....

once u go on 2 prestige u have 2 lvl up 2 lvl 4 prestige 2 get ur customs back but not in the same weapon lvl this time

It is "The First Prestige" represented by a yellow hexagon with an eagle in the center. You can achieve the first prestige by entering prestige mode after reaching level 55 during online play. In CoD4 prestiges offer no bonus, but in CoD5: World at War and CoD: MW2 it unlocks extra custom class slots in online multiplayer play.

Since the game came out, you are able to hit Prestige at level 55. Once hit, the "Prestige Mode" will come active. You will then be able to Prestige.

Prestige is unlocked on Black Ops after Level 50. By 'after' level 50 it means that you need to fill up your XP meter / bar before you can prestige.
