another questioni have a question to add to that, people say that trapinch learns dig at level 40, but it leveled into flava or what ever it levels to at 35 so then i realised maybe i shouldn't have let it EVOLVE?can flygon still learn dig? No it can't. Instead, make sure your trapinch is not to evolve until lvl 41. In 41, Traph learns Dig and evolves to Vibrava and in 45 to Flygon. Then you can teach it addit moves, I recom Fire Blast, Dig, Fly and Faint Attack.

no it cant still learn dig you have to keep it a trapinch until it learns it then evolve it. My flygon knows fire blast, hyper beam, earthquake, and dragon claw

Earthquake is a standard STAB Atk move that probably all Flygon should know, due to its high Atk.

Fire/Rock/Steel/Fighting moves cover its 4x weakness against Ice Pokémon, though Flygon would still have a disadvantage, since most Ice Pokémon have high Sp.Atk and can learn Ice Beam.

Flygon has many moves to learn from, so it depends on what you like, like a Sunny Day/Solarbeam to go with Earthquake and Flamethrower.
