Even with GameStop offering to pay an extra 50% for a trade in before April 1 20012 they might not give you a dollar for your game. It's all based on what they think a demand exists for and many games are no longer wanted by anyone. If you have a newly released game still selling for full retail you might get one of the highest amounts, but many games are not even purchased because they are already overstocked for the title and version
Under 50%, its a rip if you sell your games to gamestop.
Gamestop buys games about 60% less than what they are worth. This is correct but pretty harsh toward gamestop. While they buy these games cheaper it allows them to do other things that other stores don't. These include there promotions. As an employee at gamestop I can honestly tell you if you trade in a game its not just that were giveing you way less then its worth. Gamestop gives you store credit based on how many of the games we have in and if they are able to move these games off the shelf. Remember there in business to make money not lose money. If you buy a new game and trade it in a couple days after youll get 30 dollars back gamestop will sell it for 54.99 plus if you have the discount card you get 10 percent off the game your buying plus an additional 10 percent trade in credit on the game you traded in so 10 percent of 30 is 3 youll get 33 dollars for your game. your looking at about a 20 dollar difference to get a used game that sells for 54.99. Is gamestop a ripp off I don't think so but that's just my opinion they have to make some money christ the companies in debt to barns and noble for 100 million dollars when they bought out EB Games and that has to be paid by 2011
Well of course you can, all you need is the game, its box, and possibly the receipt, it usally depends on the games condition, its age, its popularity, and its price, also its system. I sell a lot of old games at GameStop™.
Yes, you can sell back Beats by Dre headphones to GameStop, provided they are in good condition and meet the store's trade-in criteria. GameStop typically accepts a variety of electronics, including headphones, for trade-in credit or cash. However, it's always best to check with your local GameStop for specific policies and offers, as they may vary by location.
45$
Well... you walk up to the scary man at the counter and say "Id like to trade these in please" then he will steal them off you snap the game and give it back. Then you take it back to your house and put both halfs in your console. Then play it, you should have a £10 note magically apear in your pocket. In all seriousness, though, just take the games you want to trade in to the store and tell the employee at the counter that you'd like to trade in the games. The employee will take them and give you an amount of money relative to the value of the traded games.
Gamestop sells it for $10 and no one will give more than a few to five dollars for the game though they might have back when the question was asked in 2008
Yes and you can get a discount for the Nintendo ds i but only if you have the serial number on the back or no hope for you.
can you get money back for your gamestop gift card
yes. if you want to trade in modern warfare 3 for crysis 2, then most likley they will trade it in for you. but if you want to trade crysis 2 for modern warfare 3 the they wont except. because crysis 2 is 20$, while mw3 in like 50 to 60$. if you trade a game thats less the amount of money of the game you want, GAMESTOP WILL SAY NO.
Probably only a couple dollars for the first two, and maybe a bit more for Revelations. Gamestop don't pay much for trade-ins.
