The only US Army (Marines didn't use em) Airborne Divisions and Brigades in Vietnam were: 1. 82nd Abn 2. 173rd Abn 3. 101st Abn (Ambl) US Special Forces are not counted. The 101st Abn was technically an Airmobile Division in Vietnam. There was actually controversy in Vietnam on whether or not the 101st shoulder patch should be changed to read (on the tab) AIRMOBILE instead of AIRBORNE. As any active duty servicemember can tell you, they still read "Airborne."
