No. You can have any Xbox360 console. The slim only has an USB port specially designed for Kinnect. Regular Xbox 360 consoles need an extra power source (Which is included with the kinnect).

If you are referring to the kinnect then yes. There are several games out already, and much more in the works. It can also be used for video chat. The kinnect uses three cameras to map out your body movements and moves with your body.
