A car that sputters and then stops running while driving may have issues such as a failing fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or a malfunctioning ignition system. These problems can disrupt the flow of fuel or spark needed for the engine to operate properly. Additionally, a faulty sensor, like the mass airflow sensor or crankshaft position sensor, could also cause similar symptoms. It's best to have a mechanic diagnose the issue for an accurate repair.
They start to sputter,stall and stop running.
when i am driving my toyato 2001 Eaco stops running, it will start back up
if it tends to sputter and have no power i would suggest the fuel pump. it it is only after the car has warmed up, or a while after you start driving it might be the ignition module.
A bad fuel pump will cause your vehicle to not start or sputter and then stall. A dirty air filter can have the same symptoms.
You need to replace your fuel pump
You need to replace your fuel pump
This question needs more info. Does it sputter like it is running out of fuel, or just die like it lost spark to fire the plugs? How long does it run? Does it die as soon as the key is released from the start position?
usually this is the fuel pump in the tank going bad. I have had this problem many times for customers.
MY lawn mower will start to sputter if I run the choke on after the motor is warmed up. It's getting fed too much fuel. Ease off on the choke and it will run better, usually.
Does it crank faster than normal? perhaps timing chain Check for fuel Check for spark
my 1992 dodge dakota wont stay running it stalls when driving and takes a few minutes to get started but if i wait it will start
FUEL PUMP IS YOUR PROBLEM {why do you think its the fuel pump?}
