When did SOS island come out on Poptropica?

Poptropica was first available in late 2006 and early 2007. The official opening was in September, 2007, and included the first three islands : Early Poptropica, Shark Tooth Island, and Time Tangled Island (originally Time Twisted island). This was followed in 2007 by 24 Carrot Island, then by three islands (Super Power island, Spy Island, and Nabooti Island) in 2008.

Reality TV Island was the 11th island on Poptropica. It was released for general use on March 24, 2010. (It opened to monthly Poptropica members on February 24.)

* The island was originally scheduled" for Summer 2009, and appeared on the island map temporarily in July, 2009. It was replaced as the 10th island by Counterfeit Island, which was released to the public on January 4, 2010.

Great Pumpkin Island was the 15th island of Poptropica, and came out for Halloween 2010. It was released to general use on October 14, 2010. Paid monthly members received two weeks of early access beginning September 30.

The first previews appeared on the island from December 2 to December 19, 2010. For paid members with Early Access, it was available 3 days earlier than the normal Thursday release, on Monday, December 20, 2010.

The 17th island in Poptropica, Wild West Island was opened for general free use on March 11, 2011. The preview appeared on January 30, 2011 and the island was opened to Early Access for paid monthly members on February 14, 2011.

It was followed by the 18th island, Wimpy Wonderland, also in March, 2011.
