Which direction do you turn the bolt on a lawnmower blade?

Removing the fastener on a lawn mower blade. To remove the fastener that holds a mower blade on, turn the fastener in the direction the blade rotates to cut the grass. Look at the blade, find the "leading" or sharp edge, and, while holding the blade, turn the fastener in that direction. There is a good reason that this is always true. It has to do with the physics of the machine. Imagine the fastener being "held in place" to stop it from turning as the machine starts. With the machine starting to turn, the fastener will tighten. The last thing you want is to have the fastener become loose when the machine is running. The blade could kill or injure someone if it came off. That's why the fasteners that hold the blades on these machines always come loose when turned in the direction the blade rotates.

Socket stuck on the spark plug and i can't get it out and its still in the engine?

Try reversing the drive on your ratchet handle and turning the socket in the opposite direction you were turning it when you got it stuck on the spark plug. Be sure to use a six point spark plug socket. It's much harder to ruin a hex with a six point socket. After you get the socket loose, I'd recommend removing and discarding this plug and getting a new one.

Do you loose the RYNO in ratchet and clank 1 after defeating drek?

How do you use socket wrench?

Depends on what you are needing it for. First you should determine what size socket wrench [ratchet] to use. If using a small socket in a small place, try either a 1/4" or 3/8" drive ratchet.Second will see a square piece on the head of the ratchet. You take the socket, and match the two squares together.(Note: On some ratchets, you may simply be able to push the socket on, while others, there may be a small circle on the opposite side of the socket wrench. You have to push this in, while pushing the socket onto the square, and, when the socket is in place, release the circle. This attaches the socket to the socket wrench safely, so that it does not come loose while in use). Now, if you are tightening the bolt/nut, you push the lever on the back of the head of the socket wrench to the LEFT. If you are loosening, you push the lever to the RIGHT. (Remember it like ON/OFF. On [Left], Off [Right]).After setting the socket wrench, you place the socket on the nut/bolt, you turn the socket wrench to the left if tightening, and right if loosening. (When you turn it, you should hear a clicking noise. Then when you begin to tighten/loosen it, it will stop clicking).Hope this helps!

How do you get the engine pulley bolt loose on a cub cadet LT1018 when replacing the belts?

I would use an air ratchet and a 5/8" socket. If you can't break it loose without turning the crank I wouldn't attempt anything other than that. There's also 4 bolts you will have to take out in order to slide the engine over to loosen up the drive belt
