When will Nintendo Wii stop selling?

Yes, they have found there are too many issues with the motion system and are going to release a followup console.

I Think the Wii will never be discontinuing, and i think people can just buy WiiU games from the wii like to download something from the wii, and i think its wrong to discontinue, but i doubt the wii will ever be discontinue

Good question! If they do release a new Wii rumors have spread that it will be out in 2012. Some however think that they won't create another Wii and that Nintendo will move on to better things. Personally I don't think they will ever create a new home console because the Wii keeps being updated to the point that a 30 year old Wii might just one day be as good as a PlayStation 8 or a XBOX 2520! Who knows? Only Mr Nintendo does!

Depending if the Wii U doesn't bring as many people as Nintendo hopes. If a lot of people switch to the Wii U and buy less Wii games, Nintendo will see that and then Start their process on switching to only Wii U games. It all has to do with profit and since Wii U games are in HD then more money is better for the company.

Because the new generation of Nintendo handheld consoles are the Nintendo 3DS family. This includes the 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS. Also, not many people are buying the games for the DS. In addition, Nintendo cannot support the DS forever.
