dropping fossils are found in dark fossils anywhere around vivosaur island.
You can find dark fossils anywhere after completing the test in rivet ravine:)
In Fossil Fighters, dropping fossils can be found in various locations throughout the game, including the Greenhorn Plains, Rivet Ravine, Bottomsup Bay, and Cranial Isle. They are randomly scattered on the ground and can be excavated using the stylus and touch screen to uncover new vivosaurs.
if you mean where do you get dark fossils in fossil fighters I usually go to the rivit ravene and go up the first flight of stairs then go to the right until you see another flight of stairs going down. go down there and search I almost always find dark fossils there along with some other rare regular fossils. Ninjapower5`s suggestion: I suggest Mt: lavaflow because its basically a place where dinosaurs use to rome.
Dark fossils will have either dropping fossils, rare fossils (red fossils... 25 point bonus to your cleaning score), or jewels (if you're really lucky, you'll find a colossal diamond... the rock is very hard in requires a lot of hammer work).
In Fossil Fighters, Venator legs can be found by cleaning a Dark Fossil Rock, which can be uncovered in the Mysterious Mine area. They are rare dinosaur fossil legs that can be revived into a powerful Vivosaur.
You can find them in Miraculous Fossil rocks. You can find those in any Fossil Park but it is very hard to find one. They appear as Yellow dots on your sonar, but the yellow dots can also be Fossil rocks,Dark Fossil rocks, and Wonderous Fossil rocks.
If I remember right I think that after a certain point in the game you go back to the guy that gave you the ability to see colored fossils (if you are that far in the game). Then you talk to him and he will ask if want to have another lesson say yes. Then he will teach you how to see dark fossils. Hope I could help!
He is in the Green Horn Plains pay to dig site. He is most likely to be in a dark fossil rock.
because they have a hard shell, the black part, which doesn't seem harder, cannot be broken buy drill but hammer only, you can use the drill on the brown crust though, you also can't X-ray them but, they have either a good gem, a red boned fossil or a dropping fossil, (give them to Nick Nack)
You have to talk to the same dude that taut you how to dig up colored fossils. Then use the radar to find them.
2 dark characters?!
