Where are good weapons in dead island?

There are a lot of different weapons in different categories such as blades,blunt and firearms. Blades could be diving knife,machetes, katana etc. Blunt is Baseball bats, hammer, and axes etc. And fire arms are of course guns

In the mission no good deed, if you follow your waypoint to the police station you will come across a room with a thug in it kill it than look in a silver crate under the desk with a quick shotgun in it. More weapons are if you do a mission for a man in the church, he will give you a desert eagle. Lots of people have M9 pistols. So kill lots of Rascols and the will have max ammo and M9s. Or do the Banoi Butcher sidequest to get the best melee weapon in the gamae.
