Where are the 30 stars in the castle in super Mario 64 on N64?

Go to hazy maze cave, go to the part where the dinosuar in the water has a wario cap, go to th at little part with the double door, now you are in the behind the water fall area. Try to find all the eight red coins. Once you do, jump up and get the star! Now you are done. I only have 126 stars. : - (

Most of the secret stars have the five silver stars,or 8 red coins.The first place you can get a star is in the charactor room (where Mario,Luigi,and Wario are locked) go to the painting of Peach in the left. There are two stars in that course, for the second star,you have to get to the end under 21 seconds. The way to do that is to watch the touch screen and jump off the edge onto the slide. Go into the lobby, then head through either of the plain (no star symbol) doors. Go down the steep set of stairs to your left, go through the door ahead (making sure you have completed 'Bowser in the Dark World' so that you have the key to open this door) and, just ahead on your left, you should see a door with a large star on it: this is the 30 star door. Result!

There are actually 120 stars within Super Mario 64. Each painting contains 8 stars, not just the 7 you see on the mission screen. The 8th star is the one that you earn when you collect 100 or more coins on a specific level, and is considered a "Secret Star". Other stars can be obtained in the secret stages by collecting the 8 red coins hidden through out the area (example: Flying Cap Switch, Secret Aquarium, Metal Cap Switch, etc.) Good luck on collecting all 120. If you manage to do it, someone will be waiting for you on the roof of the castle (accessed via cannon), the penguin in "The Penguin Race" will change drastically, and Bowser's final dialogue will alter slightly.
