Where are the planes in saints row 2?

Yes there is, it is a single engine prop plane on pontoons. It will not be available until part way through the game, it will be between the 2 larger islands up north on the map. There is a movie studio on this smaller island between the two brigdes, behind the studio is a small wooden dock. The plane should be found there but I assume it will not arrive until you complete the mission in which you must fly said plane.

Also You Can Find A Plan That You Can Fly At The Escobar Airport. The Plane You Can Fly Is In The Plane Parking Lot. Also The Plane Is Very Small.

a plane can be found in escobar airport. it is a brown biplane it is on front of the two ramps near the entrance. when u get on, a race will start but u can quit it by running out of time or double tap the up button.

The only plane that is available in Vice City is the Skimmer (which is a plane that floats on water). After you complete the mission called "Shakedown" Vercetti Mission, you have the ability to buy the remaining properties (the red house icons you see sometimes in the game will turn green which means it is for sale). Buy the Interglobal Films INC. at Prawn Island and you will be able to do missions for your new director friend. The second Film Studio mission, "Dildo Dodo", the mission when you have to get in the skimmer and distribute flyers across Little Havana, Little Haiti, Escobar International, Viceport and Downtown District is you first and only plane mission in the whole game. Finish the mission and the skimmer will be at the jetty where you found it in the mission permanently.

The planes are at the airport at the bottom of the map. But because of the terrible pop ups in Saints Row 2 you got to hang out there a while until you see one.
