It is sometimes caused by a lack in the power supply or recent power surge. Sometimes simply turning off the console and removing all cables and then reconnecting everything and powering on can repair the problem. Also, Microsoft does provide a 3 year warranty from the time of purchase on the console, so if you have your receipt you may be able to seek a remedy from Microsoft.
Earlyer Xbox 360s did not have a built in fan that cooled down the concel so which made the 360 to hot and get fried.
No because the ps3 was built in with a fan unlike earlyer Xbox 360s. The only way you can get a red ring of death for the ps3 is if some how a the model was not installed with one and did not get checked before shipping it. also the only version of xbox 360 which has the ring is the arcade not any else
if your talking about the red ring of death you do not have to pay because it is Microsoft's fault
No, it is bad. that means it is really messed up. bring it in and get it fixed.
just let the Microsoft people do. ( like let a Microsoft store fix it ) because the old version of the xbox360 has many errors. All xbox 360s has will it for the old version
The ring of death occurs when a malfunction in the machine happens and causes the machine to be unable to function properly. The amount I paid to have it fixed was $150.
Bring it to gamestop and get it fixed. It has red ring of death!
Microsoft has not fixed the Red Ring of Death globally. You have to get your 360 fixed individually. If, after you get it fixed, keeps becoming red, then I suggest getting a new Xbox 360, or buy a better game system such as the Wii.
Call Xbox and get it repaired!
The red ring of death represents hardware falure. contact xbox if you see any red lights on your xbox. they are all bad. if you see 3 red flashing lights, that is the red ring of death.
you have to get the xbox 360 game buffed so it can be fixed.
you could try fixing it manually, if you are lucky it would be fixed for good however it depends on a lot of factors, two popular methods are the 'towel trick' and 'x-clamp mod', I've linked to relevant articles on these fixes, you could try them. http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Towel-Trick-Explained-to-Fix-the-Xbox-RROD&id=2728185 http://ezinearticles.com/?The-X-Clamp-Modification-Method-to-Fix-Your-360s-Red-Ring-of-Death&id=2728036
