Rent a center allows you to rent game systems or to buy them outright or pay for them week by week till it is paid off and then it is yours for good although you tend to pay more that way then just buying it outright!!!

There are multiple places with the most obvious one being GAME who are now running a "Try Befoere You Buy" deal at selected stores. Otherwise look at Blockbuster

I recommend gamefly. I pay about 20 bucks a month and at the moment I have 2 $60 games in my possession. I signed up for gamefly and they sent me the 2 $60 games within 2 or 3 days. This is a great service and you can keep the games as long as you want, send them back in the prepaid envelope they send you and then they send you the next game on you list.

You can not rent consoles at GameStop. You may have luck going to a rent-a-center but that would probably be to expensive. Save your money and buy one. Or rent one from your friends so that you can negotiate the price.
