Where can i find a big poe in the Legend of Zelda majora's mask?

on the third day go to ikana graveyard with the capt mask and talk to the skeletons and they will open a passage way. go down there and make dampe dig at least four fires up then the big poe will appear kill him and there you are

I'm not yet quite sure all the uses. But one of the gibdos underneath the well in Ikana canyon will unlock the door it stands in front of if you give it to him.
