To replace the blower motor on a 1976 Nova, first disconnect the battery and remove the dashboard or access panel to reach the motor. Unscrew the mounting screws holding the blower motor in place and disconnect the wiring harness. Install the new blower motor by reversing these steps, ensuring a secure fit and proper connection of the wiring. Finally, test the motor before reassembling the dashboard or access panel.
Attached to the firewall/heater box under the passenger side finder. Trace your heater hoses back and you'll see it hiding to the left side of the hood hinge. To get to it you have to remove the inner fender well.
First find out if the blower works. To do this disconnect the hot wire from the blower and use a jumper wire from the positive of the battery and connect it to where that hot wire was. if it does not go;;; then check that the blower motor is grounded.
Not 100% sure, but try starting the fan, open the hood and listen for it.
To get heat in your 1976 MGB, first ensure that the engine is warmed up, as the heating system relies on hot coolant from the engine. Check the heater control valve to ensure it's open, allowing coolant to flow to the heater core. Adjust the heater control lever inside the cabin to the heat setting. Lastly, make sure the blower fan is functioning to circulate the warm air into the cabin.

Reverse the process to install the new heater core. You will need to remove the passenger side kick plate in your 1976 Chevrolet El Camino. Remove the heater core water supply hoses. Remove the heater core retaining bolts.
Get the motor mounts, trans mounts, transmission, radiator from a 1976 Malibu or Monte Carlo and swap them in.
