If you head Down -> Left -> Down, you will find your self at Stoneheart Falls, complete the previous True Mortal/Eric quests and you will find yourself at the Forest Gate quest. Finding the Forest Gate quest can take a bit of luck as there's several different quests, with only 1 producing the right result (hint: the quest is actually called The Forest Gate).
