Where do you get Darkrai in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon explorers of darkness?

darkrai is not obtainable i think i have never defeated darkrai but.. i know where he is he is in dark crater alot of fire types live there and rock type so i suggest that ur a water type however darkrai cheats by having more pokemon than u but.. however cresselia joins u to help defeat darkrai and cresslias slash is extremely powerful and very useful but.. tip of advice, HAVE ALOT OF REVIVER SEEDS, TOTTER SEEDS, BLIND SEEDS, X EYE SEEDS, ORAN BERRIES, AND LUCK

Darkrai can be recruited after you have defeat him in dark crater and manaphy have told you about the marine resort.It only can be fought when you have a mystery part or a secret slab in your toolbox and in certains places such as miracle sea floor 3 and spacial rift floor 14.He has a recruitment rate of -22%,so it is very difficult to recruit him.It is better to have your team leader holding a golden mask or an amb tear,but still difficult to recruit him.When you encounter him with that method it isn`t as difficult as when you battle him in the dark crater.Good luck to recruit him!That is how I get the mine!:)

Here are some suggestions on how to beat Darkrai:

Here's what you will need:

1. Lots of reviver seeds (you can get them from sentry duty at the guild if you get perfect)

2. You need to be a high level, same with your partner

3. A couple of X-Eye seeds

Here's what to do:

1. First throw an X-Eye seed at Darkrai, but remember; it won't last forever

2. While Darkrai is dizzy, take out his minions

3. Finally concentrate on Darkrai

NOTE: If the X-Eye seed effect wears off just throw another one.

Here are some more tips:

Get golden seeds from wondermailcodes lvl up youre Pokemon.

Get like 6 reviver seeds like i did.

if you have pickachu first kill rhydormp then you use thunderbolt or discharge.

if you have riolu use brick break or force palm to destroy darkrai and the other ones.

you need X-eye seed vile seed and sleep seed.

One last tip: first kill the other pokemons then darkrai it will be easyier and if you have

IQ nonsleeper and if darkrai use hypnosis ur Pokemon don't sleep.

Thanks, Pokemon Explorers. if you are riolu then use focus punch on the one with horns and watch out for darkrai if he uses nightmare but if you have the nonsleeper IQ then u can just ignore him and take out the minions first

To the guy who posted before me… Riolu ISN'T in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2. Plus Explorers of Darkness has Violent Seeds in them, not Vile Seeds.

There are easier ways to beat him than just try and try and try. To have a good chance, your Pokémon will have to be about in the level 60's (you and your partner). If you have Vile Seeds (Explorers of Time), use them on Darkrai. Or, if you have Voilent Seeds (Explorers of Darkness), use them on all your Pokémon. And you can teach moves like Brick Break or Focus Punch to most of the water and fire-type starters.

Also, you may want to bring Reviver Seeds. You can get them from Sentry Duty, or Brine Cave… I think. Also check out the Keckleon market every day to see if there are any Reviver Seeds. Oran Berries will help (about 10). You have to keep all the Pokémon with you alive, including Cresselia. I'd also recommend taking out his minions first, and using X-Eye Seeds on Darkrai (I believe he is unable to asleep). Just watch out for Darkrai's Nightmare, unless if you have the IQ of Non-Sleeper [that's how everyone got in this mess, including Azurill =P ].

Also, Darkrai is weak to fighting-type moves.

Then you can take revenge on the annoying Darkrai.

First off, you need to have defeated the final boss of the game. Once you do that, get wondermail codes for the Golden Mask and either the mystery part, secret slab, or both. Then, go to the Miracle Sea 3F with the Golden Mask given to your leader, and search for darkrai. Once you find him, you LEADER must be the one to defeat him or you will have NO CHANCE of getting him. It may take a while, so bring along some escape orbs to help.

I don't know if you can go back to Dark Crater to recruit him, but the way I did it was to bring a Mystery Part and a Golden Mask to Miracle Sea BF3 and give the Golden Mask to the leader of the party (And bring a few reviver seeds, as he can be dangerous if you're too careless). If he doesn't appear, use an escape or and come back to try again. Remember that Darkrai is a Dark type (obviously) and bring maybe a Fighting-type in the mid 50s or 60s (but be careful as I said before, Darkrai was even strong enough to take out my Level 100 Torterra, whilst Darkrai was hovering around the 50s).

To get deoxys in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon,

you need the secret slab

Then clear the game to where you disappear (you'll reappear)

Now go to Marowak dogo

There will be a earthquake

Go to the dungeon you just unlocked

It is called the final maze

At a floor (I think It is 20th floor) find deoxys and recruit him/her/it.

beat him in dark crater and beat palkia while holding gold mask then go back to deep dark crater and you'll see darkrai there fight him and recruit him. if it doesnt work keep trying and eventually you'll recruit him
