You get 4 logs of rowan wood, 2 lumps of wax, make 2 treated rowan wood planks with that, make a rowan bowstaff with that, then buy rough leather wrapping and hey presto, you put the rowan bowstaff together with the rough leather wrapping, all sorted!!
