Where do you get master long swords in Fable 2?

There are 2 ways. You can save and buy one. Or you can buy a lute, go to Bloodstone demon door, play for it, go in, go down trail, go in house (it's very scary after you go in, just warning you), go upstairs, open chest, and ta da, there it is.

as you progress in the game the blacksmiths will get better and better weapons but the westcliff cruciple would probaby be the place to look first

You get a steel longsword at almost any weapon vendor/trader. Although, your progress through the game determines what level of quality weapons you can get (ex. Rusty, Iron, Steel).
